There are few records of the Japanese Canadian children’s experiences at public school firsthand, but their presence and participation remain integral in the histories of various schools in Mission and MSA (Matsqui, Sumas, and Abbotsford), a Municipal School District amalgamated in 1935, including Peardonville School and Philip Sheffield High School.[1]
